She was the recipient of the Hirsch Memorial Scholarship Endowment and the Sigma Alpha Iota collegiate honor award. Her education included programs at the Academia dell’Arte in Italy and a summer program at the Brevard Music Center in NC. Her studies began at Furman University in Greenville, SC, where she earned a Bachelors in Piano Performance.
